Posted on December 7th, 2009 No commentsTIMELINE: For anyone who missed the meeting, I’ve developed a timeline and put it in the heating plant. Some of the dates are flexible, SOME ARE NOT. The following things are slated for this week (if not already done):

-Communications
-Tire Changing (DONE)
-Carbon Fiber Floor
-Hinged Solar Panel Frames
-Roll CageThe NEXT STAGE will be to build a body!!!
-Dan is going to head up this project! Thanks Dan! We (Dan and I) will be meeting Friday morning (November 20) to discuss the planning. Anyone interested in helping plan, feel free to join us!
-The next meeting, 2PM on Friday November 20, we will be discussing options for the body! We will do some design work over the weekend, and then begin building on Monday of Thanksgiving break! Anyone interested in planning, research, or building? Come to the Friday meeting, or EMAIL me! (zoester@siue.edu)Also, I’d like to thank Jami (from SportService) for training us on campus today!!! Nearly EVERYONE is trained now! Our first game is this SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15! We’ll be meeting in the parking lot next to the EB at 7:30AM. I’ll see you there!

Meeting Notes 10/2/09
Posted on October 2nd, 2009 No comments1) Next week’s meeting will be 2PM in the EB atrium. I (Zack) will not be able to come, so Raquel will head up the meeting.
2) Fund-Raising. Please check your Inbox, and reply ASAP.
3) I”ll need some volunteers with the Edwardsville Halloween parade. The parade will be Saturday October 31 (in the evening). Clear your calendars!
4) SPEED TEST! When we complete a) Roll bar b) Floor pan c) Tires changed d) new Solar Panel Frame and e) communications, I would like to do a SPEED TEST. We’ll take a lead and chase vehicle, along with the solar car, out to South University Drive, and see how fast we can get the car to go! Let’s set a tentative date, October 23 for the test.
5) Thanks to the following people for volunteering to help on October 25 with the middle school kids: Keith, Jake, Dan. Thanks guys!

starting from scratch on new CAD designs, but the final results should be neat!

SIUE Presentation –Zack — Powerpoint finished, presentation to Dean Savim complete. Final presentation to Nobby Emmanuel next week, on Friday. Wish me luck!

Meeting Notes 9/18
Posted on September 18th, 2009 No comments1) I need EACH of you to please pick 3 companies and design T-shirts to send to them. MAKE THEM LOOK (somewhat) PROFESSIONAL! I’m attaching two templates. You can open/edit them with ‘Paint’ on any windows machine. I would like to mail these next weekend, so please do THREE and get them to me sometime next week! I’m including a list of companies, feel free to come up with some creative solutions. Keep in mind, we’re sending T-shirt designs to companies that would be capable of sponsoring at our $4,000 level. 3 files I’m attaching to this email:
