Thank you for purchasing a compact fluorescent light (CFL) and supporting our cause!  100% of the proceeds from your purchase will be used to purchase materials for our brand new solar powered car.  Pat yourself on the back because you have completed step 1 in making the world a cleaner ‘greener’ place to live.  Step 2: Install the light.  Step 3: Repeat.

—-So why is this light bulb so environmentally friendly?  Here is a little lesson about light bulbs…

-Incandescent light bulbs aren’t very good at producing light.  They are, however, very effective at making heat.  So an incandescent bulb has to consume more energy than a CFL to produce the same amount of light.

*Light output is measured in Lumens, the more lumens a light makes, the brighter it is.

*Energy use is measured in Watts, the higher wattage a light bulb uses, the more money it costs you!
